In 1945-1948 has studied at the vocal department of the Musical Collage after Romanos Melikyan. From 1949-1951 at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas. In 1987 has graduated from Yerevan State Conservatory as a professor of Folk Singing. Having graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory she lectures there up to now. Honored artist of SSA. She has been to many countries: Canada, France, where she has received the first prize for performing Armenian song. In 1973 participated in the 100 anniversary of nations songs and received the plate of priority.
