Hrachya Muradyan-Nikogosyan was born on February 4th, 1927 in Leninakan. He studied at the musical school after Kara Maurza, in his native town. In 1937 together with his family moved to Yerevan. In 1947 left Yerevan musical school after Al. Spendiarrian, a class violin. Further he continued to play the kamancheh. In 1947-1974 he conducted national instruments ensemble of Arm Philharmonic Society which was managed by Arev Bagdasaryan. In 1956-1947 was a leader of the musical instruments group of songs and dance ensemble. In 1967 Hrachya received a title of honoured artist. Side by side with the melody of kamancheh sounded technical means reproducing the sounds of violin. In 1960 released his first gramophone record. In one of the concerts in the USA the sounds of his Qyamancha has been associated with violin. Beside of my musical activities he has been composing and has many romances, suites and dancing melodies. Music is his life.
