It is safe to say, that Elvina Makaryan was one of the greatest Armenian singer-songwriters of our times. Elvina Makaryan was a legend in Armenian music. One cannot imagine Armenian music without Elvina Makaryan. She has shaped Armenian popular music, and has influenced many generations. Elvina Makaryan has passed away on July 10 2007 from a fatal heart attack.
Her memory will always be bright in our hearts and the sweet tunes of her voice will always sound in our ears.
