Points Credit : 0 points Currently valued at $0.00 Raised in Yerevan, Armenia, Edvin Petrosyan was always steeped in music. He was ten years old when he began taking lessons in piano and voice. At 18, thanks to his natural talents and musical affinities, he was admitted to the prestigious Komitas Conservatory in Yerevan. But Edvin didn??™t have a chance to attend the Conservatory as in 1987 he moved with his family to the United States. Settling in Los Angeles, Edvin lost little time to pursue his musical dreams. In 1989 he formed a band, called Tsaghkadzor, and continued to hone his skills by writing songs and singing. While Tsaghkadzor made waves by performing at private banquets, Edvin worked relentlessly toward the recording of a compact disc. His debut album, Tariner Heto, was released in 2003 to wide popular acclaim. It was followed by Ches Sirel, a second full-length record that was released in 2007. Edvin will give his first public concert sometime during 2008. Tune in for more information.
