In 2004, two young DJs Aram (DJ art) and David (DJ toptoon) got upon a rather interesting and, at the first sight, absurd idea to start a new project the aim of which was to "reincarnate" old Armenian songs and thus, to save them from oblivion. All they needed was Initiative, Desire and Will. All these important "ingredients" were soon mixed with modern rhythms and here it was: the songs, popular among the old generation, got rejuvenated. Today, DJ art and DJ toptoon play under the scenic name Dirty Brothers. In 2006, the Brothers released their debut album. Masters of remakes, the "doctors" of old Armenian songs will keep on reincarnating new songs.
