Points Credit : 0 points Currently valued at $0.00 Armen Mirakian was born in 1962 in Yerevan. Education started at the R. Melikian Music School, then at the Yerevan State Conservatory with Prof. M. Harutiunian (has graduated in 1994). Since 1998 he is a soloist of the Yerevan Opera Theatres. In 1996 became a Laureate of the Komitas Competition, a Laureat of the Belcanto Competition of Italian Romance. In the same year he performed the composition "Hymn of Nations" with the choir directed by O. Tchekidjian. In 1999 he has performed the compositions of Italian composers at the House-Museum of A. Khachaturian. The next year he was a Harlequin in "Pagliacci" by Leoncavallo. In 2000 he won the Grand Prix at the Sayat-Nova All-Armenian Competition. In 2001 A. Mirakian had a recital in the Glass Hall of the Opera Theatres performing the compositions of Russian composers. A. Mirakian has a vast repertior (Armenian songs, Russion, Italian, Neopolitanian and opera and chamber compositions).
